My client, a fascinating, nationwide company with a strong reputation locally, is looking to recruit an ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Management Accountant.  This is a long-term contract position requiring an immediately available candidate or at least someone who can start on reduced notice and can commit to the full duration of 18 months.

A growing company with a fantastic reputation for developing staff, they are keen to find a qualified accountant who has a broad experience in manufacturing or product-based companies.  The nature of the role means someone who has a background in FMCG or Multi SKU environments will adapt quickly to the role, systems and processes and be able to hit the ground running.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background in both Management Accounting and Standard Costing, be able to work autonomously and be prepared to adapt to new systems and processes as they arise.  Advanced Excel skills will be essential due to the nature of the role as well as a willingness to adapt to established working practices.

Requirements

Fully Qualified Accountant with a strong management accounting background
ACA, ACCA or CIMA - QBE will be considered if the candidate has strong cost/ product based background
Ambitious individual who is self-motivated
Ability to work with senior stakeholders across the business
Excellent analytical skills
