Are you a qualified teacher who is passionate about working with MLD SEN secondary students? Do you want to join an outstanding SEN school in Medway, Kent? Do you have the skills and experience to teach Life Skills lessons? If yes, then we have an exciting job for you!

Your new company
Our client has been rated outstanding by Ofsted and has an excellent team who communicate and support each other well. We are looking for a qualified teacher who can start in January 2023 and work until Easter, with the possibility of extending until the end of the academic year.

Your new role
You will be working with a small group of around 12 MLD SEN students, who have a range of learning difficulties and needs. You will also have the support of a dedicated TA, who will assist you in the classroom. You will mainly be teaching Life Skills lessons, which aim to develop the students' independence, confidence, and social skills.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience of working with MLD SEN students in a secondary setting
* A good understanding of the Life Skills curriculum and how to differentiate it
* A positive and flexible attitude
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
