Scaffolding Tutor



Salary £28k-£34k DOE Per annum



As a Scaffolding Tutor you will be responsible for planning and delivering accredited Level 2 Diploma in Scaffolding with a custodial setting, this is hugely rewarding role, where you will be able to make a directly positive impact on individuals lives.



Knowledge and skills

* Extensive on site experience in all aspects of scaffolding

* Hold the relevant scaffolding accreditation such as PASMA

* Able to work collaboratively within a team
* Understanding of working with awarding bodies such as City & Guilds

* Experience of working with people with complex needs and/or emotional barriers to learning, ideally within a custodial setting

* Experience of teaching further education ideally
* Comfortable teaching individuals at different levels

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* Happy to have a DBS completed

Role Responsibilities

* Able to manage groups of adults in a custody workshop and have effective and proactive classroom management skills, generating expected behaviours, leading by example in everything you do.
* Support the monitoring of delivery, including invigilating examinations, and achieved qualifications in line with quality processes and data protection regulations
* To effectively monitor and track individual learner progress so delivery falls within the scope of ADP requirements and report back to Training Admin Manager
* Ensure that all records are up to date, accurate and meet all GDPR requirements
* Attend training events and mandatory Team Meetings as and when required
