Job Title: Delivery Driver
Salary: £28,080.00
Location: Loading daily in Rochester - delivering in and around London and the Southeast.
Job Type: Full Time
Hours: 7.45am start (Monday – Friday approx. 40 – 45 hours per week)

A position has now become available for a Delivery Driver to join our fleet of drivers based out of Rochester. We are a long-established ‘family owned’ Fine Food and Drink importer and distributor supplying independent food stores throughout the U.K.

Skills and Experience Required:
• Organised.
• Confident.
• Pro-active.
• Due diligent / Accurate.
• We require the successful candidate to be a minimum age of 24 to facilitate our fleet insurance conditions.
• Previous multi drop experience is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Full driving license with a maximum of 3 points.
• Have good people skills and be able to work within a team.
• Problem solving.

Job Duties (not limited to):
• Organising and loading of goods/deliveries into van.
• Completing approximately 8 to 12 deliveries per day around London and the home counties.
• Heavy lifting will be involved.
• Checking the goods delivered matches with the corresponding delivery paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service skills, and any issues are resolved competently.
• Ensuring delivery documents are signed by the customer receiving the goods.
• Weekly vehicle safety checks are completed.
