Your new role

* Releasing orders once credit checks are completed.
* Setting up new customer accounts.
* Communicating with clients and customers regarding outstanding balances.
* Sending regular statements to clients.
* Monitoring and managing customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices.
* Contacting customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding payments.
* Conducting credit checks on potential customers.
* Collaborating with other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.

What you'll need to succeed

* Proven experience in credit control (minimum 2 years preferred).
* Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with clients.
* Knowledge of credit control procedures and relevant regulations.
* Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
* Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
* A proactive and results-oriented approach.
