Benenden School are looking to recruit friendly and reliable people to join our Domestic Department. No experience is required as you will be given full training, however, you must be efficient and organised. This role involves some heavy lifting.

Kitchen Assistant
Main duties include maintaining kitchen cleanliness in accordance with Food Safety Regulations, food prep as instructed by the Duty Chef, washing up of all the pots and pans and other equipment used in the kitchen and ensuring the rubbish area is kept neat, clean, and tidy.

Hours:
42.5 hours per week. Shifts either 7:00am to 4:00pm or 12:00pm to 9:00pm.
5 out of 7 days rota, this is an all-year position.

Salary:
£26,879.04 per annum

Benenden is one of the leading day and boarding schools in Britain. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 190 of those in the Sixth Form. We are an ambitious school, with recent developments including a state-of-the-art Science Centre and All-Weather Sports Pitch, and our new world-class Centenary Hall and Music School opened in June 2022.
Meals are provided to staff whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including a fitness gym and swimming pool are available for staff to use.
