We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook to join our team and help us continue delivering high-quality meals to our valued customers.

Job Description:
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of simple, flavourful dishes. Your role will include prepping ingredients, cooking, and ensuring that every meal is made with high awareness for allergens and dietary needs. You will work closely with the café team to maintain a smooth, efficient kitchen operation during busy periods.

Part-time / Full-time depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of simple meals including breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, soups, and daily specials.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Assist in preparing ingredients for the day's menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with the café team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Adapt to the pace of a busy café environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during busy times.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food quality.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Early start time at 7.00am Monday – Friday
