Our client, a successful, well-established business is seeking to recruit a Accounts Supervisor to join their friendly and long-standing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team in a busy role with the potential to take on additional responsibilities.
• Management of Accounts team – 3 Accounts assistants.
• Treasury Management – Payment approvals and bank reconciliations.
• Monthly Payroll – Summarising/Checking/Paying payroll/posting journals and paying CSA/other deductions of Earnings
• Processing weekly timesheets allocating costs to correct projects
• Maintenance and Management of Fixed Asset register
• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Creating and managing projects within Sage 200, maintaining correct contract values and contract budgets.
• Quarterly VAT returns for 3 companies
• Monthly CIS returns and issuing monthly subcontractor statements
• National Statistic returns

Skills
• Financial experience within a Manufacturing/construction background (desired)
• Strong knowledge of financial compliance and regulation
• Passionate and confident with continuous improvement ethos
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Excellent IT and financial systems skills
• Experience of working in a cost-conscious environment
• Ability to perform assignments independently with supervision and guidance as required
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
