Our client, a Lloyds Broker, is looking for a Claims technician/ Broker to join their expanding Non-Marine Claims Team in their London office. The purpose of the role is to handle a caseload of Non-marine claims with a focus on Property and Casualty. Flexible hybrid opportunity with work from home model and only 5-6 visits to London per month maximum.



Main Duties:

* Deal with a caseload of Non-Marine claims
* Ensure claims are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
* Create New Claims files
* Create entries and update financial records on relevant system(s).
* Liaise with and advice Clients on claim procedures.
* Negotiate settlement of claims with Insureds and their advisors, including face to face meetings.
* Broking claims via ECF
* Dealing with both open market and binder claims
* Develop and sustain relationships with Clients, TPA's, Insurers and colleagues.
* Ensure the company systems and procedures are followed at all times



Essential Skills Required:

* Previous experience within a Claims role as a Technician or Broker
* Strong Insurance knowledge
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
* Good knowledge of London Market information technology systems such as CLASS, ECF, IMR.
