Hays are recruiting for a Glue Machine Operator for our client based in the Medway Towns area. This is a full-time position for the successful candidate.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30K - £35k (Subject to experience)

Working Hours:
Alternating weekly shifts; 6am - 1:30pm & 1:30pm - 9pm.
Initial working hours will be double days whilst training.

Main Responsibilities of a Gluer Machine Operator:
* Producing finished cartons of various styles, complexity, and materials across a range of equipment, both efficiently and to a high degree of quality
* General machine maintenance
* Setting up and running straight line glue jobs and crash lock boxes manufactured from folding cardboard.
* Achieve a daily production plan.
* Passing of own work
* Advising Team Leader(s) of any consumable stock requirements
* Ensuring machine packers are aware of their duties and are monitored accordingly.
* Comply will all company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Attributes of a Gluer Machine Operator:
* Being able to work well within both a team and in small partnerships.
* Able to show a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
* Ability and willingness to share knowledge and skills with other members of the team.
* Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training.
