My client is a long established school, looking to recruit an Estates Operation Manager to their staff. The role will lead, coordinate, and oversee the estate functions, with line management of a small support staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the estate and compliance with health and safety regulations.

About the Role:

As the Estates and Operations Manager, you will:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive estates management programme utilising both in house teams and planning for external contractors
- Oversee large capital and refurbishment projects across a range of grounds, buildings and facilities
- Manage supplier contracts and service level agreements, monitoring spend and budget implications
- Ensure site security, health & safety compliance, and regulatory adherence, including asset management and lifecycle reporting
- Lead and support teams to deliver high-quality operations across the school

Whilst educational sector experience would be an advantage, experience of estates or facilities management in a complex environment is essential. Naturally, you’ll possess strong project management skills and an effective leadership style, with the presence and credibility to represent the School at all levels.  Professional qualifications in either estate management or another relevant field is required, alongside first class communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
