Your new company
As company buyer you will sit within a buying/procurement team of 5 working closely with the commercial and construction teams, the main function will be to ensure the company obtains quality materials and equipment hire for competitive prices in a timely fashion. You will analyse the current processes and suppliers and ensure materials are being scheduled with the right lead in times with the most competitive suppliers with the relevant approvals. You will also seek alternative products where applicable. You will be the sole buyer for the construction team and have autonomy to shape the role to suit - Full job spec on request.

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience as a buyer with a general main contractor. You will have a strong understanding of both new build and refurb schemes and be comfortable liaising with builders, merchants and suppliers. You will be fully I.T literate and be comfortable managing your own workload and working independently (whilst sitting amongst the wider team).
