Are you good with numbers, commercially curious and keen to understand how a successful international trading business works behind the scenes?

We’re recruiting for an established, successful and growing international trading business looking for a bright, switched-on Finance and Operations Administrator to join their team!

This is not a narrow accounts role – you’ll sit at the heart of the business, liaising across departments, understanding how transactions flow, solving problems and helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

It’s ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys finance, but wants broader commercial exposure, variety and a role that gives them a real understanding of the business as a whole.

What you’ll be doing:

- Tracking transactions and financial activity from start to finish
- Maintaining accurate records, spreadsheets and operational systems
- Monitoring invoices, payments and supporting documentation
- Reconciling information and investigating discrepancies
- Liaising with colleagues, suppliers and customers to resolve queries
- Supporting month-end processes and reporting
- Helping improve processes and keep operations running efficiently
- Gaining exposure to how different areas of the business work together

Who we’re looking for:

You’ll ideally have some experience in accounts administration, finance support, bookkeeping or a similar role, but just as important is your attitude.

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Confident with numbers
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- Comfortable using Excel and spreadsheets
- Proactive and commercially aware
- Curious about how businesses operate
- Confident communicating with different people
- Keen to learn and take on more responsibility
- Looking for a varied career, not a traditional accountancy route
