As the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor you will be responsible for managing and supporting an effective operational process, whih ensures accurate integrity of customers/suppliers stock whilst ensuring that all legislative and regulatory requ rements are upheld and the highest standard of health and safety are maintained. Your duties will include: * Working alongside customers, suppliers and transport teams * Warehouse management, goods in and goods out * Supervising 3 members of staff * Daily/weekly/monthly stock takes * Adherence to customer stock and control procedures Key skills required: * Previous warehouse manager or supervisory experience * A professional manner * Good computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel) * Basic numeracy and literacy skills * Experience operating within a warehouse environment Hours are Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm however some flexibility may be needed

Our client based in Basildon is looking for a Forklift Operative to join their growing team on a temporary basis in the Stanford-Le-Hope area. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous warehouse experience, with a in date Counterbalance Forklift licence, excellent communication skills and a solid work history with no gaps and a strong work ethic. The Forklift Operative duties wil involve:- * Loading and unloading of freight going through the warehouse using a Counterbalance Forklift * Notifying Supervisor of any shortages or damages * Ensuring that the appropriate booking in procedure is adhered to and dims etc are checked and reported back to the relevant department. * Ensuring that all vehicles are handled in a prompt manner * Ensuring that all freight leaving the warehouse is signed for upon collection * Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse Hours of work are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern 6am - 2:30pm, and 11:30am to 8:00pm or till finish. Your main duties will include: * Using scanners to scan the picked items * Ensure products are picked accurately and in time to meet the customer dispatch schedule, ensuring picking targets are met, whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy. * Good eye for detail Reporting and stock that may be low for your pick. * Excellent time keeping. Hours are: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:15pm. Free parking on site. This is a temporary position during a very busy period for our client.
