The Orchard is a private events and wedding venue hosting in excess of 100 weddings per year. As a family run business, we put the guest journey at the forefront of all we do. We have an excellent team of sales, planning and operations, all of whom work together to ensure we are delivering 5* service and exceeding our guest’s expectations, delivering them the wedding day they always dreamed of.
We are looking for operational staff employed on a casual basis to work with the team to continue driving quality service and to be part of our on-going journey to success. The role will be varied, inclusive of bar work, food and beverage waiting service, setting up for events, general back of house maintenance and preparation and ensuring the events are delivered to a high standard.
Customer service skills, operational experience and knowledge of the events and hospitality industry are preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Given our business is predominantly weddings, it will be assumed by the successful applicant that evenings, weekends and anti-social hours will be required. This is a part time, casual role based on a rota basis which will be issued 2-4 weeks in advance.
