Interim Management Accountant
£35,000 - £40,000 pro rata, depending on experience
2 - 3 Month Contract, Full Time


Are you an experienced Accountant with Advanced Excel skills? Are you looking for a new short term contract?

My client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support the Accounts team with an exciting new project for a 2 - 3 month temporary assignment.

This role is for an individual who is immediately available and able to commit for at least 3 months. The right candidate will have advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables.

Due to the importance of this project being completed in a quick and efficient manor, there will be an Excel test to complete within the interview process.

As the Management Accountant you will be required to:

- Record financial transactions for the project, department, or company
- Prepare financial statements for internal and external use
- Reconcile spending with budget as part of job costing
- Analyse financial performance and forecast longer-term horizons
- Recommend methods and strategies for cutting cost
- Liaise with the Sage Business Partner though import and testing
- Maintain records and support auditing efforts
- Advise company and/or department management on financial decisions

Person Specification:

- Immediately Available
- Advanced Excel skills
- CIMA/ACCA Qualified desirable
- Strong background working with finance systems
- Able to work independently as well as being part of a team.
