A Full Time Therapeutic Care Worker is required to work in an established Children's home in North Kent, circa £ 23,000 pa. including 28 days paid holiday. In addition we run a pension scheme.
This home is staffed 24 hours a day 365 days per year and an additional full time permanent member for our established team is required.
The ideal candidate would have worked with children previously and have a current DBS certificate for an immediate start. Preferably they will have attained an NVQ level 3, be over 25 with a full driving licence. Full training will be provide if you do not have the correct qualification.
The home has a 'Good' Ofsted rating and is highly regarded in this sector.
We run a 7.25 hour shift system mid-week, 14 hours on weekend days and sleep- in shifts. If you wish in addition to the above salary there could be additional voluntary overtime and sleep in shifts which are paid at £70 per night.
The successful candidate will be expected to work any of these shifts and would need to commit to some weekend working.
The applicant will be required to have a full driving licence and be over 25 years of age.
Although training will be given, any previous training particularly in child safeguarding would be advantageous
