My client based in Kent are looking to recruit a Senior Payroll Administrator to join a busy and thriving organisation. This is an exciting role which offers variety and the ability to develop current skill sets.
Key Responsibilities
-Take full ownership and responsibility for delivering payroll on a timely basis, both weekly and monthly.
-Processing New Starters, Leavers, Timesheets, Statutory Payments, Termination Payments, Costing. Running reports, analysing and sanity checking.
-Entering allowances and understanding their significance to HMRC legislation.
-Keeping up to date with changing legislation, such as national minimum wage rates, redundancy calculations, tax rules etc. to ensure payroll remains internally and externally compliant.
-Ensure third party suppliers are serviced efficiently to deadlines.
-Ideally studying towards your CIPP qualification.
-Learning on the job the variations between the payrolls
The ideal person will be used to working towards tight deadlines while working under time pressures within a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work as part of a team and individually. Previous experience of a variety of payroll systems is required and someone who has the ability to use excel to manipulate data.
