Our Manufacturing client is recruiting a HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis at their HQ in Horsham. With sites in Horsham, Plymouth and Wokingham you will join an existing HR team of 2 other professionals to support HR for the organisation.
Your new role
As a HR Officer, you will deliver a professional service to effectively manage the administration activities associated with the 'employee life cycle' and all associated people related systems, processes and activities. The opportunity is for an experience HR Coordinator working within the HR team to continuously improve the performance of the HR function, people systems and processes in the organisation to deliver first class service to our internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide general HR advice and guidance on a broad range of human resource issues in line with policy and procedures
* Support all key HR generalist activities and Employee Relations issues
* Coordinate all recruitment and selection activities
* Absence management administration and reporting
* Support the onboarding process
* Participation in HR projects
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role you must be CIPD part qualified or working toward achieving this with at least 2 years of experience within a HR position. You must be highly organised with strong literacy and numeracy skills and be self-motivated to drive for results. You must also have previously used HR Systems, preferably PeopleHR or similar and be strong analytically with excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of using and producing data using HR/MRP/ERP systems.
