Job Description

Pearson Whiffin Education are looking for an experienced caretaker to work on a part-time basis at this Maidstone based primary school. The successful candidate will either work a morning or afternoon shift, depending on their availability.

This is an ongoing role and will start immediately. Candidates must have an in date enhanced DBS (or be willing to acquire one) in order to apply for this role.

What will your responsibilities be?

* To undertake responsibility for the supervision of the site and the maintenance and security of the buildings
* Maintain the cleaning and repairs of the premises
* Ensure that the school is a clean and safe environment for students and staff
* Accept deliveries
* Attend emergencies such as spillages

What Skills and attributes will be required?

* Work well as part of a team and individually
* Reliable with excellent communication skills
* Have good organisational skills
* To be able to use a range of tools and cleaning equipment
