Senior Software Tester based in West Malling, competitive salary DOE, with remote working options.

Your new role
To provide confidence in the delivery of software developed within the company by identifying, developing, reviewing, executing, and evaluating tests within Project frameworks. As a senior member of the team, you will also be responsible providing leadership and contributing to our continuous process improvement programme.

What you'll need to succeed

* To provide confidence that software solutions delivered are appropriate to the business needs, adhering to Software Testing best practise methods
* To provide a point of contact and expertise in Software Testing to internal and external stakeholders
* To provide testing expertise on Functional and Non-Functional requirements
* To provide coaching, mentoring and expertise to the companies software testers
* To provide strategy and advice on evolving the companies IT Software Testing services
* To provide and continuously improve testing documentation
* To be the point of contact for software testing process within project teams
* To defect manage within project teams
* To determine the most appropriate testing plans and methods to ensure quality of software solutions
* To develop an understanding of the technical environment and provide practical testing appropriate to the solution
* To determine when Acceptance Testing is appropriate, to engage and coach the business enabling business sign off and confidence
* To build and sustain effective relationships between the IT Team and the business
* To communicate knowledge of applications and provide guidance to IT and the business
* To promote quality throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding development artefacts through to Acceptance Testing
* To provide testing expertise within the appropriate project environment
* To continuously improve the function by identifying, practising, and coaching differing testing methods to the IT team
