Hardware Team Leader

Atlas Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Hardware Team Leader on behalf of our prestigious defence client. This role will be working with cutting edge tech supporting Warships

The Hardware team:

The Hardware Team is responsible for all hardware engineering activities associated with the delivery of the control systems for the Type 26 electro-optic sensors and gunnery systems in line with all relevant processes and quality requirements.

What you'll be doing:

* Lead hardware team and mentor team members
* Plan team's work, provide estimates and report against plans/schedules
* Deliver the hardware scope to budget and timeline
* Act as Hardware Technical Lead
* Carry out activities in line with specifications, quality & technical standards
* Lead and partake in Hardware procurement and build, test & acceptance
* Carry out technical analyses and investigations



Your skills and experiences:

* Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering or defence related industry across multiple lifecycle phases
* Good understanding of Lifecycle Management



Location: Portsmouth Broad Oak

We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum DOE
