Pearson Whiffin Education are working on behalf of a secondary school in the Maidstone area, to find a qualified secondary school teacher of History on a long-term, full-time basis who can start immediately.

If you have had experience teaching History at GCSE or A-Level within the past two years and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the job for you!

In order to success in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

* A good understanding of the History curriculum
* Ability to teach KS3 and KS4
* Enthusiastic and passionate about the subject
* Willingness to embrace new teaching technologies

In order to apply for this role, the following criteria must be met:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience of teaching History at GCSE or A-Level
* Innovative teaching style
* Ability to teach mixed and high ability classes
