The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to work at our client's busy medical technology manufacturing sight, based in Farlington, Portsmouth.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

Operating, setting, programming and turning a 5-axis Sliding Head CNC machine
Helping to manufacture components and instruments for the medical industry
Working from schematic drawings and diagrams
Identifying and solving problems
Replacing parts on the CNC machine
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment

Previous experience of machine operating is highly essential for this role. The client will only consider candidates who have programmed and operated multiple-axis CNC machines. Experience working with a Sliding Head machine would be highly advantageous.

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position.

A great opportunity for a long-term position, as the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period.

Pay rate of £15.00 per hour.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday, 08:30 - 17:30, and Friday 08:30 - 12:00.
