We are supporting our client in their search for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy Purchasing department.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate, have good experience using Microsoft programmes and excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with suppliers and colleagues regularly.
You will be using an in house accounting and stock control system and training will be provided.
Duties Include
* Placing orders with stationary supplier, maintaining stock levels for office consumables.
* Checking orders, deliveries and processing invoices for various departments, checking statements etc.
* Maintaining filing system within the purchase ledger department
Hours & Benefits
* Monday - Friday - 08:30 - 17:30 with 1 hour for lunch
* Workplace Pension
* 28 days holiday per annum (this includes all bank holidays)
* YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN TRANSPORT DUE TO THE LOCATION OF THE COMPANY (no public transport serves the village)
* Salary to be discussed at interview, depending on experience
