We are looking for an enthusiastic, agile and confident Administration Officer, to help us make a real difference to EKHUFT hospitals. We raise and receive money in order to fund projects and initiatives that enhance the hospital and patient environment, and have an opportunity for someone to support us on our ambitious journey.

Our new Administration Officer will support our fundraisers and charity projects and events, helping us to maximise the Charity’s income. We want someone who feels comfortable communicating with staff, patients, families and our communities and who is motivated to help us raise the profile of the Charity.

This is a fixed term 12-month role. This is a Band 3 role, which equates to £22,816 - £24,336 per annum (pro rata where applicable). We can consider part time roles, and flexible working opportunities.

Main duties of the job
Charity Administration Officer Band 3 - Advert:

We are East Kent Hospitals Charity. We are here to help your hospitals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, agile and confident Administration Officer, to help us make a real difference to EKHUFT hospitals. We raise and receive money in order to fund projects and initiatives that enhance the hospital and patient environment, and have an opportunity for someone to support us on our ambitious journey.

Our new Administration Officer will support our fundraisers and charity projects and events, helping us to maximise the Charity’s income. We want someone who feels comfortable communicating with staff, patients, families and our communities and who is motivated to help us raise the profile of the Charity.

This is a fixed term 12-month role. This is a Band 3 role, which equates to £21,730 - £23,177 per annum (pro rata where applicable). We can consider part time roles, and flexible working opportunities.

Educated to A level standard or equivalent qualification

Knowledge of database and Microsoft packages

Awareness of best fundraising practice

Desirable criteria
Familiarity with NHS fundraising

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign

Skills
Essential criteria
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to influence, motivate and encourage others

Ability to understand and interpret highly complex information and willingness to develop skills in this area

Excellent command of English language (written and verbal)

Excellent numeric abilities

Excellent written abilities shown by the ability to produce concise, accurate reports

Excellent IT skills

Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

Ability to problem solve
