We're recruiting a Head of Property Services (Operations) on a fixed term basis to deliver a consistent M&E servicing and repairs service across all parts of the organisation.
About the role
As a key member of the Property Services leadership team, we'll look to you to ensure that all properties managed by Clarion are serviced and repaired according to legislative requirements, incorporating best practice. You'll establish an effective and efficient delivery structure that is able to work collaboratively with external contractors and the Commercial Company where appropriate and work with other departments to ensure suitable procedures for gaining access to undertake servicing activities are in place.
Other duties include:-

In conjunction with the procurement team developing detailed strategies for the efficient and effective procurement for the future delivery of servicing.

Ensuring that all contracts are robustly managed, with suitable and appropriate arrangements in place to measure and monitor performance in terms of cost, quality of service and customer satisfaction.
What we're looking for
To be successful, you'll need extensive experience as a Head of Service in a national Housing Association. You'll need experience of leading change in a large organisation and a track record of delivering very high value (multi £m) consistent maintenance services and resulting high levels of resident satisfaction. A sound understanding of the social housing environment, including regulation and emerging government policy is also essential for the role.
