Mechanic / Fitter

£16 - £18ph DOE
Monday - Friday

Our client based in Maidstone is looking for an experienced Mechanic / Fitter to join their growing team! If you have proven experience as a Mechanic / Fitter and want the chance to work within a niche market, then look no further!

Duties include:
• Ensuring all vehicles are road worthy, and up to the standards of the customer.
• Ensuring all mechanical parts meet all the requirements and are working effectively.
• Completing welding, fabrication, and machining work as needed.
• Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Conducting thorough inspections and testing to identify and address any safety concerns.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Previous experience working as a Mechanic / Fitter, ideally on industrial and commercial vehicles.
• A full, clean, UK driving licence.
• Able to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• An understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Able to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• A strong attention to detail.
