Head of Curriculum (HoC) – Construction

Where you’ll work: This role is multi-sited

Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.

Your pay: Spot Salary - £47,520 per annum

Working closely with the Assistant Principal, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that curriculum delivery is of the highest quality, with the required support in place to help all learners thrive and achieve in our dynamic teaching and learning environment. The post holder will support the Assistant Principal in the effective leadership and management of the curriculum area to achieve the College objectives, behaviours and targets as identified in the Strategic Plan.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant construction qualification (or have relevant industrial experience) and hold a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above (e.g. Cert Ed / PGCE). It is essential that you can demonstrate teaching and learning at good or outstanding level, you will also have experience of curriculum planning and development, and a proven ability to manage and lead an experienced, professional team to deliver results.

In return, we’ll give you 42 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata for part time contracts), and you’ll be enrolled onto the Teachers’ Pension Scheme which also includes life assurance. You’ll also benefit from free parking and have access to a range of onsite facilities including a nursery (Dartford and Gravesend campuses), restaurants and coffee shops.
