Working mainly in the public sector, they have a broad range of exciting projects including education, residential, public and community buildings. They have strong links to local Authorities, County Councils and Housing Associations and have a robust reputation in successfully delivering projects in these areas. They are looking to grow the Building Surveying Team and require a surveyor to join the Kent office during this exciting time in working with new clients on interesting projects.
Your new role
As a building surveyor, your job will be capable of working on your own initiative, have good communication management and team working skills, good working knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, preparation of tender documentation and contracts and be able to undertake the contract administration and Employer's Agent duties for a variety of projects in different sectors. You will be experienced in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis and preparation of formal reports; submission of building regulations and planning applications.
Experience of aids and adaptations, party wall matters, DDA audits, auto CAD proficiency and CDM regulations would be an advantage.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will ideally be qualified or hold a relevant degree and well progress to obtaining MRICS.
