Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Location: Maidstone
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Our client is at the forefront of creating premium vehicle and industrial applications. They are committed to delivering clean, efficient, and high-value products. We are working closely with them to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer and contribute to their mission of advancing sustainability and powering a carbon-free tomorrow.

Day to Day of the Role:
• Respond to breakdowns of machine tools, assembly, and test machines.
• Perform fault finding, rectification, basic mechanical interventions, and development of machinery as necessary.
• Liaise with internal and external suppliers for service engineers and spare parts.
• Plan and organize maintenance activities considering the impact of machine downtime.
• Identify and maintain an up-to-date record of trackside spares and required parts.
• Raise purchasing requests and coordinate with the purchasing department.
• Collaborate closely with the maintenance team and utilize communication systems for maintenance handovers and asset traceability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in maintaining, repairing, and developing machinery.
• Knowledge of PLCs and PC diagnostics.
• Drive diagnostics and repair capabilities.
• Desirable: CNC diagnostic experience, electronic fault finding, 18th Edition electrical regulation, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, and apprenticeship served.
