Management Accountant

Location: Ashford, Kent

Job Type: Temporary, Full-time

Availability: Immediate start

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant for a temporary position within a manufacturing company based in Ashford, Kent. The ideal candidate will be available for an immediate start and able to commit to an office-based role for the duration of the assignment.

Day to day of the role:
*Preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
*Arranging financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting
*Advising on financial audits and coordinating with audit teams
*Reviewing and presenting budgets and managing cost-benefit analysis
*Ensuring compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
*Developing financial reviews and providing investment advice
*Working closely with management to share reports and analysis findings
*Enhancing efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
*Assisting with systems administration, including finance software and Excel

Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
*Excellent numerical skills with an attention to detail
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
*Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
*Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred however part qualified candidates would be considered.
*Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
*Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
