Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Van Driver to join their client based in Sittingbourne on a Temp to Perm position.
The role entails:
- Completing approximately 30+ deliveries per day around Kent and surrounding areas (not parcels)
- Some heavy lifting will be involved
- Use of a PDA device
- Daily vehicle safety checks
- Loading/ unloading of your vehicle
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous multi drop experience is essential (2 Years minimum)
- A full driving licence with a maximum of 6 points (minor offences only)
- IT skills are required for the bespoke technology
- Good roadcraft and geographical knowledge
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Prior to commencing this role our client requires to conduct an interview and the successful candidate will undergo a DBS check within the probationary period.
The hours of the role are Monday to Friday working between 06:00am – 6:00pm (No Bank Holiday or Weekend work)
The rate of pay for this position is £12.47 per hour + holiday pay.
