A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Hygiene Team Leader to be part of a team within the manufacturing industry. You will be managing the team and the hygiene services on a day-to-day basis, responsible for documenting all regimes and implementations.
You will be reporting to the Hygiene Manager.
Duties include:
* Control Hygiene team members at all times to make sure they wear PPE.
* To identify any issues when they arise and report to your Hygiene Manager.
* Report any Food Safety and Health & Safety concerns and ensure the correct forms are complete.
* To achieve a "right first time" clean, following set work instructions and safety
* Carry out daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc cleaning tasks.
* Take part in daily GMP audits.
* Timely and accurate completion of related documents and records.
* To ensure hygiene operatives cleaning machines are following the correct guidelines.
* To manage and develop hygiene staff on the shift to ensure they are proactive and carry out their job roles in a safe and effective manner.
* Carry out start-up/inspection checks of cleaning equipment and report any damages.
* Carry out chemical titration check.
* To organise and control stock issues and generate stock replenishment orders
Essential experience
* Previous hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment.
* Supervising a team.
* Level 2 Food Safety.
* Basic knowledge of COSHH.
* Basic BRC understanding.
* Previous knowledge of hygiene practices
* Numerate & literate and able to follow instructions.
