Hays recruitment are currently recruiting for a customs clerk for our client based on the outskirts of Canterbury. This role is a permanent position starting asap.
Monday to Friday
£25,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.
Duties
- Organising the customs clearance process for clients.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Prepare and review Import/export declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin, IPAFFS.
- Liaise with customs authorities.
- Track shipments to ensure timely clearance.
- Handle any enquiries from clients.
Experience
- 3 years or more customs clearance clerk experience.
- Knowledge of customs regulations.
- Import/export experience.
- Organisation skills.
- Communication skills.
- To meet tight deadlines
