Our client, a Lloyd's Managing Agency, is looking for an Trainee Underwriting Administrative Assistant to join their expanding team in London. The purpose of the role is to assist Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants in the daily administration and maintenance of their class of business.
Main Duties:
· Entry of underwriting risk data into the system, including setting up, amending, and completing entries.
· Scanning and attaching documents to the document library system.
· Keeping paper and electronic files up to date and organised.
· Monitoring incomplete risks and chasing Underwriters or Brokers for corrections.
· Entry of bordereaux and managing monthly/quarterly bordereaux reporting.
· Supporting the team with reporting, meeting preparation, and general administrative tasks.
· Ensuring compliance with regulatory and Lloyd's requirements.
Essential Skills Required:
·Minimum 3 A Levels C and above (or equiv)
· Good level of written and verbal communication.
· Ability to support the underwriting team in achieving business targets.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet software.
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Ability to use initiative and adapt to changing tasks.
