Overview:
Reporting to the Planning Manager we are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team based in Sittingbourne.

The successful individual must be able to work in a busy and fast paced team, where juggling multiple priorities is key.

Job Summary:

The Supervisor will be responsible for the correct warehousing and inventory control of raw materials, finished goods, traded products, factory supplies and where appropriate spare parts, and ensures the maximum utilisation of warehouse facilities. The Supervisor must coordinate with the purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics managers to ensure correct receiving, transfer and despatch or raw materials and finished goods. The Supervisor should coordinate with planning to determine forecasts, trending to optimise Kanban’s and stock and serve suppliers.

The role:

To assist organising the control and collection of finished goods and received goods from third parties for and on behalf of our customers. Allocate and despatch all raw materials to the manufacturing units, liaising with the Supply Chain, Planning, and Production managers to ensure supply to the factory is maintained. Manage the stock rotation of all raw materials, ensuring that the correct rotations are carried out across the site.

The ideal candidate must be, or have the following:
• Hardworking, self-starter who is motivated
• Enjoys working in a busy environment to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage a small but highly flexible team
• Attention to the detail, is process-driven and is prepared to challenge the status quo
• Previous experience as Goods In & Dispatch Supervisor is required or experience as a supervisor looking to take the next step
• High Level user knowledge/skills of an ERP computer system (Orderwise)
• FLT/PPT license is essential
• Maintain and follow ALL Health & Safety rules and regulations; safety is our No: one priority
• Personally, comply with all policies, procedures, and risk assessments relevant to role
• Be an integral part of the Health & Safety team, driving best practise and being and exemplar of Health & Safety management at Unipet
