Class 2 HGV Driver

We are looking for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our growing Transport Team at the Tilbury Depot.

You will be the face of Meyer Timber responsible for safely delivering our timber products in and around the London Area providing great customer service.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:-
• Start times range between 5:00am – 6:00am, multi drop
• Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Curtain pulling and securing the load
• Manual handling
• Checking paperwork on products
• Customer interaction

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:-
• 2 or more years of 26 tonne driving experience
• Class 2 licence with no previous disqualifications
• Fully CPC qualified
• Must be physically active due to manual handling
• Multi drop experience would be advantageous but not essential
