Our client based in Basildon is looking for an experienced Forklift Operative (with a valid counterbalance forklift licence) to join their logistics team on a permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, good communication and numeracy skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Container stuffing and unloading (potentially handball at times)
* Loading and offloading trailers
* Labelling incoming and outgoing goods
* Understanding of freight management
* Maintaining a good work ethic and teamwork
* Ensuring safety at all times
* Some overtime may be required
Requirements:
* Valid counterbalance forklift licence with 2 years of practical experience for insurance purposes
* Previous warehouse experience
* Good communication and numeracy skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Some heavy lifting required
Working Hours:
*
8am to 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday
