Headquartered in the City of London EC3A , our client is a boutique, independent Lloyd's Broker also registered in Bermuda providing a broad range of broking and underwriting services across various non-marine and marine lines.



They place open market insurance & reinsurance risks and in addition to facilitating and administrating TP delegated authority agreements they also underwrite on in-house binders.



This is a very client-focused environment where communication and technical knowledge are placed at the forefront.



Overview

* The Claims Handler with work closely with the broking team, markets, TPA's, legal representatives and clients.
* Claims will vary across property, casualty, marine and specialty.
* Proactive management of claims from initial notices through to closure.
* Ensure claims information is logged and actioned appropriately.
* Investigate and validate claims in relation to policy terms.
* Negotiate with markets to achieve the best possible client outcomes.
* Liaise with TPA's and solicitors/lawyers
* Support clients, providing guidance and technical insights



What you need to show

* Solid claims handling experience from a broking, insurer or TPA background.
* Knowledge of Lloyds/London market and ECF preferred.
* Confident communication skills



What is on Offer

* Salary to £45,000
* Benefits package
