Marketing Executive

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Job type: Part-time. 2 days a week (14 hours)

Salary: £12,000.00 per annum (£30,000.00 FTE)

About the role:

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Marketing Executive to support the development and execution of our digital marketing campaigns. As part of our marketing team, this role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including supporting email marketing campaigns, managing social media content, assisting with the planning and promotion of events (both in-person and online), and creating high-quality marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and design.

This is a part-time (2 days a week, 14 hours) role, with the potential for additional hours during peak periods. Preferred office days are Tuesday and Thursday, with flexibility to work from home as needed after completing the probation period. However, this can be discussed during the interview process, as we are open to accommodating the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Email Campaigns: Assist in creating, testing, and optimising email campaigns
Social media: Assist in creating and scheduling content for social platforms
Event support: Assist with the organisation and promotion of events, including face to face events and online webinars
Design: Create marketing materials, including social media graphics, videos, email templates, and event collateral

About you:

Essential:

A strong interest in marketing and/or a desire to build a career in this field
A strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools
Digitally savvy, with familiarity or experience using social media platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Creative, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work well in a team and support senior marketing members
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe or Canva is essential, and experience with WordPress is a bonus

Desirable:

Experience with digital analytics tools
Familiarity with SEO principles is a plus
