A great opportunity has arisen with one of our long-standing engineering clients for a permanent Factory Operative to join their Casting department in the Medway area.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30; Friday 06:00-14:30
Previous factory or manufacturing experience is required, but full training will be provided.
The Role
You will support the safe and efficient running of the Casting department, carrying out a range of production duties, including:
* Operating and loading/unloading robots
* Carrying out hand dipping
* Mixing and testing slurry
* Operating the boilerclave
* Processing components in line with work instructions
* Completing production records and job cards
* Carrying out quality checks
* Following health & safety procedures and using PPE correctly
* Carrying out manual handling duties safely
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in a factory or manufacturing environment
* Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
* Able to follow written instructions and procedures
* Detail-oriented and committed to quality
* A good team player with strong communication skills
* Comfortable with manual handling
* Willing to learn and complete relevant training
Full training will be provided for the role, making this a great opportunity to develop your skills within an established engineering environment.
