We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our client's Quality team and support the continued improvement of quality standards across their manufacturing operations.

Working closely with the Quality Manager, manufacturing teams, suppliers and customers, you will be involved in quality assurance, problem solving, NPI, auditing and continuous improvement within an AS9100 environment.

Monday to Thursday: 08:15 - 17:00
Friday: 08:30 - 13:15

Key Responsibilities

* Manage supplier approval, CAPA/RCCA, concessions and non-conformances.
* Support APQP, PPAP, NPI and First Article Inspections (FAI).
* Maintain quality documentation, standards, specifications and configuration control.
* Conduct internal audits and support customer/external audits.
* Support customers, suppliers and manufacturing teams with quality issues.
* Attend production meetings and lead/support problem-solving activities.
* Maintain the quality risk register and quality records.
* Support contract reviews and manufacturing routes through the MRP system.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of quality systems.

About You

You will ideally have:

* Experience within an AS9100 and manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Experience with quality systems and auditing.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
* A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Desirable: NADCAP experience, Lean Six Sigma, auditing qualifications and a full driving licence.
