Infrastructure Specialist - Azure - £60K + Package - Reigate or London
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a big brand financial for an Infrastructure Specialist to join the team in either Reigate, Surry or London.
Role.
To work with Architects, other team members and vendors to help design, plan, implement and support new solutions as well as enhance existing solutions. This individual will bring a passion for technology, a strong Microsoft technical skill set, and an ability to deploy and configure Production-ready solutions, services and tools for our customers - using automation wherever possible. The Infrastructure Specialist is a very hands-on individual. They will assist other team members in the development and deployment of environments and (cloud) related services for our customers. They will have opportunities to be involved at all stages of the project lifecycle - covering requirements capture and assessment, cloud services deployment, security and compliance, systems engineering and operational readiness. They will also be involved in the day to day support across the Infrastructure domain
Skills/Experience
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Azure technology stack with proven technical experience i.e. IaaS, PaaS, Dynamics 365, etc.
Excellent knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2008/12/16
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, GPOs, ADFS, Security, PKI, DNS, DHCP, etc.
Excellent knowledge of Hyper-V, covering deployment and administration within a S2D environment
Excellent operational experience of managing a Microsoft based infrastructure
Good experience of Office 365 (Inc. migration path to the platform)
Good knowledge of traditional networks, firewalls and load balancers
Good scripting skills, ideally Powershell
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
