We are the only financially self-sufficient Council in the country and have an ambitious agenda to do more for our communities.
We are looking for someone with a flexible approach to work in our busy Finance System Team. You will be responsible for processing Accounts Payable and Account Receivable and undertaking routine accounting tasks. You will also be assisting the Finance System Team Leader in maintaining the Council's finance system (Agresso) and training other staff in its use.
You will be required to reconcile the Council's Kiosk on a rota basis outside of normal office hours.
You will need to work accurately under pressure, have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Prior experience in an accounts or finance function would be an advantage.
