All Seasons is an established and respected community organisation delivering high quality care to people in their own homes. We are owned 49% by our employees, and 51% by Social Enterprise Kent CIC. We employ 230 staff in East Kent, and are a “Good” provider registered with the Care Quality Commission.
We are now recruiting a new Director of Resources position to lead our business support services of HR, Finance, IT and marketing. This role will be based in Margate, reporting to the Social Enterprise Kent CEO.
Working hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday, although some overtime may be needed to meet business needs.
The role :
• Provide day to day leadership of the HR, Finance, IT and marketing services (5 staff and external suppliers)
• Ensure the company meets its legal and regulatory requirements for finance and HR, including HMRC, Care Quality Commission, Information Commissioners’ Office, Companies House
• Support with strategic development, eg new contracts and tenders
• Provide good quality management information and reporting for the Senior Management Team and All Seasons Board, covering workforce planning and development, management and statutory financial information and analysis (in conjunction with the Finance Manager), annual budgets
• Support the Registered Manager and Quality Assurance teams in working towards an “Outstanding” CQC rating
About you
• Demonstrable track record of leading and managing similar successful operations
• Solid experience of managing HR and employment issues at a senior management level
• Good understanding of governance and controls
• Excellent organisational skills, able to manage pressure and competing priorities
• Strong leadership presence, strategic and financial planning and acumen, evidence of delivery with decisiveness and accountability
• Excellent contract management and negotiation skills
