Monday -Thursday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am - 4:30pm



An exciting new opening for an experienced HR Manager, with a background within the Education sector, has arisen for our well-established client based in Maidstone

The successful HR Professional will assist the CEO and work closely with senior leaders to offer strategic and operational leadership, whilst helping improve HR processes and procedures.



Your duties will include:

* Ensuring that all safeguarding policies and procedures are in place, including safer recruitment, managing any allegations, and keeping children safe in education
* Heading the recruitment process and overseeing the induction of all new employees
* Ensuring all GDPR, compliance and confidentiality processes are being updated, and advising all senior managers and the CEO on all matters related to data protection
* Liaising with the Financial Director on all pay related issues
* Ensuring that safe working practices are adopted by all employees



Mandatory skills:

* Level 5 CIPD qualification or above
* Knowledge of Primary and Secondary education is desirable
* Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and ability to apply this within policies and procedures
* Confident IT skills including MS Office
* Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels
* Sensitive and empathy dealing with confidential and/or emotive information
* Self-motivated with the ability to contribute well to teams
* Proactive and dynamic, comfortable working to tight deadlines
