Temporary Part-Time Receptionist

£12 per hour

South West London

3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) 22.5 hours per week

Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 OR 09:30 - 17:30 (Shift rota)

Overview:

An amazing opportunity to join a local leading organisation as a Part-time Receptionist.

The post holder will be required to cover all three clinics in different locations around London, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Being the Front of House, the receptionists will be the first point of contact for staff and patients, meeting and greeting them in a professional manner whilst additionally providing an administrative support.

Medical experience not essential.



Sounds interesting?...Daily duties include:

* Responsible for the diary booking system ensuring patients are seeing within the required time.
* Retrieve, file and safeguard patient notes in line with Data Protection requirements.
* Responsible for the processing of all new patient data and create files.
* Monitor and update the diagnostic codes on patient files, ensuring all other data is inputted correctly in the Clinic office database system.
* Responsible for ensuring patients are subscribing to the charity's Gift Aid scheme (were possible).
* Help in setting up reception area and clearing away at the end of the day. Ensure the general tidiness of the reception as well as patient waiting areas, throughout the day.
* Maintain accurate data records for clinic performance in order for the Clinic Operations Manager to produce monthly reports.
* Any other reasonable duties as requested by line manager or other senior staff.



To be successful in this role you'll have:

* Over 3 years' experience working in a busy reception area or customer service (advantage if worked in a medical environment with electronic booking system but not essential).
* Computer literate (intermediate level).
* High levels of customer service and administration skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate information to patients, and to the team
* Organised, detail focused
* Diligent, flexible and able to work as a team.
* Innovative, able to use initiative (within the framework of the running of the clinic)
* Able to multi task and work amidst noise and constant disruption.
* Tolerance and patience - able to deal with the varying moods of parents.
* Knowledge and understanding of the principles of confidentiality.
* Demonstrate the personality and passion to help our patients and their families.
