As a Senior Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of automotive powertrain systems.

Duties include:
• Lead and participate in the development and validation of advanced powertrain technologies, focusing on improving efficiency and reducing emissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, simulation, and testing, to develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analyse data, and present technical reports to support design and development decisions.
• Utilise industry-standard tools and methodologies for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in engineering design, development, and validation.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in powertrain technology and contribute to technology roadmaps.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Educated to a degree level in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in the development of automotive powertrain systems, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, electrified powertrains, and hybrid systems.
• Proficient in using engineering software tools such as CAD, CAE, and simulation software.
• Experience with industry standards and regulations related to emissions and fuel economy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and project updates.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
