JOB TITLE: HR Manager
LOCATION: Rochester
SALARY: £18.00 - £20.00 per hour

TERM: Temporary
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for education? Are you ready to make a significant impact on the development and well-being of both staff and students? We have the perfect opportunity for you!

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

* Work closely with SMT to identify the School staffing needs
* Co-ordinate recruitment and implement effective recruitment
* Ensure all new support staff receive induction in relation to HR matters and manage new staff induction processes
* Ensure all statutory Safeguarding, duty of care and other such training is in place for every member of staff to meet compliance needs and provide evidence for inspection
* Ensure notice arrangements are actioned and exit interviews are carried out
* Deal with all aspects of employment and staffing issues
* Monitor and assist in the management of staff procedures relating to sickness and other absence, staff who are leaving such that a planned approach is adopted in relation to staffing matters
* Provide advice, guidance, and support the SMT line-managers and members of staff on all personnel related issues
* Line management of HR team members



We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

* Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in an educational setting
* Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to convey information clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
* Systematic and thorough working approach with the ability to work independently
* Immediately availability and happy to commit to a temporary position
